PHILADELPHIA, PA — The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Bryce Wolfe, a 20-year-old motorcyclist from Luzerne County, who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run crash on Kelly Drive late Wednesday night. His passing has left his family, friends, and the Temple University community grieving the sudden and devastating loss of a young man whose future held so much promise.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. on June 24 near Kelly Drive and Reservoir Drive. Investigators reported that Wolfe was riding his red motorcycle when a white SUV traveling in the opposite direction attempted to make a turn. The vehicle allegedly swerved and struck him, leaving him trapped beneath it. Police stated that the SUV continued traveling for approximately a mile before Wolfe was eventually dislodged near Fountain Green Drive. He was rushed to a hospital but later died from the injuries sustained in the crash. The driver involved has not yet been identified, and authorities continue to search for information regarding the incident.

Bryce’s family is now left not only with profound grief but also with unanswered questions as they try to understand the circumstances surrounding the crash. His mother, Lori, described him as an exceptionally driven and accomplished young man, noting that he stood out for his intelligence, work ethic, and determination at such a young age. She expressed the deep pain of losing someone she believed had a bright and successful future ahead.

His parents, Lori and Clarence Wolfe, have also made public appeals for anyone with information about the collision or the vehicle involved to come forward, hoping that answers may bring some measure of clarity during this difficult time.

Bryce was entering his third year at Temple University, where he studied actuarial science. Alongside his studies, he was completing an internship and had also been involved in teaching motorcycle safety, including training members of law enforcement—an indication of his commitment to both learning and helping others. He was remembered by loved ones as a devoted son, caring brother, and someone who made a lasting impression on those who knew him.

As investigations continue, those who knew Bryce Wolfe remember him as a talented, kind, and ambitious young man whose life was cut tragically short. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
