LEWISTON, Maine — Authorities are continuing to investigate the death of Duke Mangos after he was found unresponsive outside Webb’s Market near the intersection of Pine Street and Horton Street in Lewiston.

According to officials, emergency responders were dispatched to the area following reports of an unresponsive man who had reportedly been seen leaning against the exterior of the building. Upon arrival, first responders found the individual showing no signs of life and immediately assessed the situation.

The Lewiston Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed that the man was deceased. Shortly afterward, officers with the Lewiston Police Department secured the area and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
